Career

In 2010, his father, Wojciech, bought Albert his first go kart with which he drove the Berlin Brandenburg Challenge (BBC, now Ostdeutsche Kart Challenge (OKC)) in 2011. He finished 2nd overall in the Rotax MiniMax, standing on the podium in seven of the eight rounds, winning one on the way. In the same year, he also became the regional champion in the same class and series. 2012 meant switching the racing series from BBC to the Rotax Max Challenge Germany, where he finished 10th overall. At the end of the year, he did some training races in the Rotax Junior Max class. Among those was one round in the BBC, where he was the fastest. In 2013, he switched to the ADAC Kart Masters, where he spent two years in the IAME X30 Junior class. In 2015 being 15 years old, Albert left kart racing and moved up to touring car racing in the Polish Kia Lotos Race series. In this season, Albert turned out to be the fastest of the debutants, won one race, achieved one pole position and posed the fastest race lap time once. He finished the year as 5th overall, ahead of many more experienced drivers.
