Actinopus is a genus of mygalomorph spiders in the family Actinopodidae. It is found in South America, Central America and Trinidad.

Taxonomy
The genus was erected in 1883 by Maximilian Perty, initially for the species Actinopus tarsalis, from Brazil. The genus name is derived from Greek actin- "ray, beam" and pous "foot".
