Achkhoy-Martanovsky District (Russian: Ачхо́й-Марта́новский райо́н; Chechen: Тӏеьха-Мартан кӏошт, Theẋa-Martan khoşt) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifteen in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 1,100 square kilometers (420 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Achkhoy-Martan. Population: 78,505 (2010 Census); 64,839 (2002 Census); 59,837 (1989 Census). The population of Achkhoy-Martan accounts for 25.7% of the district's total population.
