Acacia thomsonii is a shrub or tree belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Juliflorae. It is native to an area in the Northern Territory and the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

The often spindly shrub or tree typically grows to a height of 2 to 6 metres (7 to 20 ft). It blooms from June to August producing yellow flowers.
