Acacia phaeocalyx is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the central Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.
The spreading and pungent shrub typically grows to a height of 0.3 to 0.6 metres (1.0 to 2.0 ft). It blooms from April to June and produces yellow flowers.
