Acacia obovata is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the South West, Peel and Wheatbelt regions of Western Australia.

The erect dense shrub typically grows to a height of 0.3 to 0.6 metres (1.0 to 2.0 ft). It blooms from March to September and produces white-cream-yellow flowers.
