Acacia merrickiae is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia in the IBRA Avon Wheatbelt.

The open spindly shrub typically grows to a height of 2 to 4 metres (6.6 to 13.1 ft). It blooms from April to June and produces yellow-cream flowers.
