Acacia costata is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area along the west coast in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

The spreading and prickly shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 0.5 metres (1 to 2 ft). It blooms from May to June and produces yellow flowers.
