History

Opened by the Strathspey Railway (GNoSR). Then station passed on to the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) during the Grouping of 1923. The LNER amalgamated with other railways to form British Railways in 1948 who closed the station to passengers in 1965 but the line was still open to freight until 1971.

The site today

The site is now home to the Speyside Way Visitor Centre [1]. The building has been enlarged and the old railway buildings are now a teashop.
