A Happy Day of Jinsa Maeng (Hangul: 맹진사댁 경사; RR: Maengjinsadaek Gyeongsa) is a 1962 South Korean comedy film directed by Lee Yong-min. The second film adaptation of the delightful comic fable written by Oh Yeong-jin in 1942 and originally performed as a stage play in 1944, it was first filmed by Lee Byeong-il as The Wedding Day (1956) and a third time by Kim Eung-cheon as Wedding Day (1977).

Synopsis
Maeng Jin-sa (Kim Seung-ho), the patriarch of a village household in the Chosun era, is obsessed with his social status and constantly schemes to elevate it. He arranges to marry off his daughter Gap-bun (Lee Bin-hwa) to Mi-eon (Kim Jin-kyu), the son of Minister Kim. When a rumour spreads that his future son-in-law is crippled, he resorts to tricks to marry off his maid Ip-bun (Choi Eun-hee) instead.
