The calendar for the 2016–17 Egypt Cup qualifying rounds, as announced by the Egyptian Football Association.
Preliminary Round
Preliminary Round fixtures started on 14 October 2016 and concluded on 2 November 2016. A total of 222 teams, from Level 3 and Level 4 of Egyptian football, entered at this stage of the competition. The results were as follows:
Competition proper
Winners from the Fourth Qualifying Round advanced to the Round of 32, where teams from the Egyptian Premier League first enter the competition.
