The 2014 Miami Hurricanes football team (variously "Miami", "The U", "UM", "'Canes") represented the University of Miami during the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hurricanes were led by fourth-year head coach Al Golden and played their home games at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. They were members of the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The season was the Hurricanes' 89th overall season and their 11th as a member of the ACC. They finished the season 6–7, 3–5 in ACC play to finish in a three-way tie for fifth place. They were invited to the Independence Bowl where they lost to South Carolina.

2014 recruiting class

Nine players enrolled for the spring semester in order to participate in spring practice (eight former high school seniors on scholarship and one former junior college player on scholarship).

The early enrollees from high school include running back Joseph Yearby, offensive lineman Kc McDermott, offensive lineman Trevor Darling, wide receiver Braxton Berrios, defensive end Trent Harris, linebacker Juwon Young, linebacker Darrion Owens, and cornerback Ryan Mayes.

The junior college player that is enrolled early is defensive tackle Calvin Heurtelou. All of the players will take part in Miami's "U-tough" strength and conditioning program in February before spring practice starts in March.
