The following is a list of events affecting Philippine television in 1995. Events listed include television show debuts, finales, cancellations, and channel launches, closures and rebrandings, as well as information about controversies and carriage disputes.
January 1:
The television history in Zamboanga City was faced in network's programming and affiliation swap; as ABS-CBN's programming and affiliation moved from TV-9 to TV-3 (when the network took over their TV-3's station facilities and studios) with GMA Network's programming also swapped and moved to TV-9 (TV-9's owner that time was still owned by First United Broadcasting Corporation, before GMA were also took over their TV-9's studios and facilities – a year later).
GMA Network launched its 45th corporate anniversary with the new logo (simple "GMA" text and "Rainbow" with "Satellite" and modified 1992 logo) and its slogan, 45 Years of Responsible Broadcasting. The first new logo was used (possibly) the plug – and during the broadcast of the first day – of Papal Visit and World Youth Day 1995 coverage (as the network's official coverage that time).
August 27: Citynet Television (now GMA News TV) was launched by GMA Network Inc. as fourth UHF free-to-air television channel in the Philippines.
October 1: PTV-4 launches the logo and station identification slogan "Ang Network Para sa Pilipino" part of the three-year countdown to Philippine Independence Centennial Celebration.
