History
Zonguldak Alapli Anotolian High School started an education as one class in Ahmet Zeki Primary School in 1995. In the beginning of 1996–1997 years, Zonguldak Alapli Anotolian High School was moved to Social Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation. In 1998, Zonguldak Alapli Anatolian High School was moved to another building which was built by Special Provincial Directorate of Administration. Zonguldak Alapli Anatolian High School continues education as Anatolian High School depending Middle Education General Administration in the same school.

Education
Zonguldak Alapli Anatolian High School is one of the most considerable school in Alaplı. It's education is based on Anatolian High School. There are some languages such as English, German educated as a compulsory in Alapli Anatolian High School.
In 10th class, Students have to select a branch which are "Foreign Language", "Turkish-Maths based" and "Science-Maths based", although students select these branches, they are responsible all of the main courses like Maths, Turkish, Physics, History etc. Also students can take courses like Drawing, Music, Computer Science, PE etc.
Building and Laborities
School has got "Music, Drawing, Foreign Language, Computer, Science Labaratories. And also, there is library which has almost 600 books. Zonguldak Alapli Anatolian High School which has 330 students. There is a small museum which has been created by students and teachers.
Projects
In Zonguldak Alapli Anatolian High School, There are some projects related to abroad like Comenius and e-twinning. Comenius project was founded by headmaster and English teachers. The project was accepted by Center for European Union Education and Youth Programmes. As for e-twinning, Students in Alapli Anatolian High School have a contact with students in the Netherlands by e-mail.
Social Activities
There are variety of activities in Zonguldak Alaplı Anatolian High School. Every year, Festivals are held in the school. Students and teachers arrange enjoyful programs. In this program, there are some competitions like tug of war, gunnysack race, game of finding gold in yoghurt.
