Zinder Region is an administrative Region in Niger, the capital of the Region is the Commune of Zinder. The Region covers 145,430 km².

In 2013 the Governor of Zinder Region was Yahaya Yandaka. Since 19 April 2016 Issa Moussa has been Governor.

Zinder is divided into 5 Departments:

Goure Department

Magaria Department

Matameye Department

Mirriah Department

Tanout Department

Zinder has the following foreign borders:

Yobe State, Nigeria - southeast

Jigawa State, Nigeria - south

Katsina State, Nigeria - southwest

Domestically, it borders the following Regions:

Agadez - north

Diffa - east

Maradi - west
