Zinc is a town in Boone County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 103 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Harrison Micropolitan Statistical Area.

History
Zinc mining gave the town its name.
Geography
Zinc is located at 36°17′7″N 92°54′56″W (36.285384, -92.915419).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.9 km² (0.8 mi²), all land.
Demographics
As of the census of 2010, there were 103 people, 37 households, and 23 families residing in the town. The population density was 39.1/km² (101.8/mi²). There were 35 housing units at an average density of 18.0/km² (46.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 88.3% White, 1% Black or African American, and 8.7% from two or more races. 1.9% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 37 households out of which 64.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.2% were married couples living together, 16.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.6% were non-families. 19.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 2.79.
In the town, the population was spread out with 18.4% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 38.2% from 45 to 64, and 11.8% who were 65 years of age or older.
