  • Controversy

There have been complaints about Ziinga regarding a required 3-month subscription rule for products advertised as "free" and that of a cancellation fee upon early termination of said 3-month subscription: "The member can at any time cancel their membership and does not need to pay the full amount but will be charged a small 28 pound cancellation fee [in the UK]." Complainants have also cited that "the membership fee isn't displayed prominently enough, and the Terms and Conditions are confusing or misleading." In order to receive some items, users are asked for identification and need to send in signed copies of credit card form. Upon winning an item, users are compelled to reveal their names, photographs and locations in order to claim their prize.
