Zhu Shouqian, 1st Prince of Jingjiang, was grandnephew of Hongwu Emperor. His grandfather Zhu Xinglong was eldest brother of Hongwu, his father was Zhu Wenzheng, who had help Hongwu founding Ming dynasty.

Childhood
When his father demoted by Hongwu Emperor, he was just 4 year-old. At the time, Hongwu petting his head and said: "You no need to fear, your father uneducated, let me worry, I will not demoted you even because of your father's wrong". Then, he was raised in the palace.
Shouqian's born name was "Tiezhu" 鐵柱, when his granduncle became King of Wu, his name was changed to "Wei" 煒. Then, his name changed to "Shouqian" in 1370.
Became Prince of Jingjiang
He became Prince of Jingjiang when he was 9, Hongwu created him Prince of Jingjiang, then he went to his states Jingjiang (nowadays Guilin) in 1376. His salary was same as 2nd rank Commentary Prince, but his rank same as half of 1st rank Prince. Manor for Zhu Shouqian used to be potential residence of Toghon Temür.
Death & aftermath
Zhu Shouqian died in 1392, January, his burial place is at Purple Mountain. His son Zhu Zhanyi succeeded him as Prince of Jingjiang.
