Background
The company was founded and remains privately owned by two sensors engineers; Mark Howard and Dr. Darran Kreit. Howard and Kreit co-developed Zettlex’s patented new generation inductive technology which is now sold to over 38 countries around the world.
Zettlex’s IncOder™ range of inductive encoders is widely viewed as the number one product for measuring position or speed in tough environments. There are over 100 million product variants available within the IncOder range. Zettlex also offers Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) sensors for customer-specific applications.
Zettlex sensors are used across a number of industries including defence, aerospace, medical, petrochemical and security.
Quality & awards
Zettlex is ISO 9001:2008 certified business. It designs, builds, tests and ships all products from its headquarters in the UK. The company also carries BS EN 13980 certification for the manufacture of ATEX approved devices.
Zettlex has won a significant number of awards since being founded. Most recently, Zettlex was named Business of the Year 2015 at the Cambridge Business Excellence Awards and UK Manufacturer of the Year 2015 at the Rural Business Awards.
