Career

He started his career in Željezničar Sarajevo. He played for the youth side, but never got an opportunity to play for the first team. He went to Olimpic. FK Željezničar officials finally recognized his qualities and brought him back to his childhood club on loan in spring of 2004. But after only several months, as a result of new disagreements, he signed a contract with Zrinjski Mostar.

His first foreign club was Slovenian club Maribor. Then he went to the Russian First Division where he played for FC KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny. After a short period in FC Alania Vladikavkaz, he came back to Željezničar Sarajevo, the club in which he had started his football career.
