Yuva Unstoppable

YUVA Unstoppable is a non-governmental organisation in India. It works towards education of underprivileged children and involving them in various non-curricular activities. The organisation is spread across 30 cities in India, with a task force of almost 100,000 volunteers. YUVA’s founder and current CEO is Amitabh Shah, a graduate of Yale University.

History

On his return to India in May 2005 after graduation, Amitabh Shah visited orphanages, the local Blind People's Association, two slum children schools and poor vagabonds found near the railway stations.

He founded Yuva Unstoppable in the same year, with a small group of enthusiastic individuals. Since then it has mobilized more than 120,000 young people with a simple aim of creating a better world to live in.

In 2010, former Indian president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam addressed Yuva Unstoppable's 5th anniversary gathering.

As of 2017 Yuva Unstoppable has become a nationwide movement, active in 32 Indian cities.

Yuva unstoppable believes in the power of youth and acts as catalyst in bringing a change in the society by inspiring the young people to contribute 2 hours a week for Better India.

Mission statement

Yuva Unstoppable is completely committed towards social development and aims at empowering the sensitive and critical problems of the society through the power of youth by changing the ATTITUDE of coming generations through proper AWARENESS and required ACTIONS.

Success mantra

YUVA Unstoppable believes in the principle stated by Mahatma Gandhi – "Be the change you want to see in the world". It says that young people are not useless but they are used less, so it tries to give direction to the aspiring new generation to do something good.
