Yunquera is a traditional Spanish town with beautiful scenery and a relaxed atmosphere. While it is becoming more and more of a tourist spot, this quiet little town remains shrouded in history and totally self-reliant. The temperature in winter can drop to below 20 °C, and in summer, can be in the 40s in the shade. It is also the most elevated town in the province of Malaga.
