Football

Yuma Catholic High School football has quickly become one of the state's top programs. Coached by Rhett Stallworth, Yuma Catholic's varsity football team is currently #1 in Arizona Division IV. In 2014 Yuma Catholic won its third state championship, going undefeated, 14-0, winning back-to-back state titles with its defeat over Tempe Preparatory Academy 38-27, its third state title in four years.

Yuma Catholic has had two Division I football standouts: tight end Matthew Pistone (Boise State University) and wide receiver Donovan Rooks (University of Montana), both of the class of 2015.

As of January 2015, the Arizona Interscholastic Association has moved Yuma Catholic up to Division IV Section IV, but the school will be moved to Arizona 3A in 2016.
