Yscir (or Ysgir) is a community in the county of Powys, Wales, and is 35.3 miles (56.7 km) from Cardiff and 145.6 miles (234.3 km) from London. In 2011 the population of Yscir was 419 with 17.9% of them able to speak Welsh.

Aberyscir Round Cairn (51.9644°N 3.4732°W) and two standing stones (Battle and Fennifach Standing Stones) are all Scheduled prehistoric Monuments dating back to the Celtic (pre-Roman) period.

An electoral ward in the same name exists. At the 2011 Census this ward had a population of 1,038.
