Youth State Orchestra of Armenia

The Youth Orchestra of Armenia was founded in November 2005, with the efforts of the students of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Sergey Smbatyan, violinist and prize-winner in international competitions, is the chief conductor and artistic director of the orchestra. In the concert programme of the Youth State Orchestra are included the works of Armenian, Russian and West-European composers of different epochs.
