"Your Forgiveness" is the fifth track on the seventh studio album of The Rasmus, Black Roses. In February 2009 the band made a video clip for this song, which was officially published on 23 December 2009.
Music video
Directed by bassist Eero Heinonen in February 2009, the video shows the story of a young engaged couple. The girl loves the boy, but apparently he doesn't love her so much which is why, during dinner, he gives back his ring, and leaves her. Thus she gets so exasperated she stabs him with a knife. The boy desperately crawls into the hospital. Later the girl arrives too, and she's sorry about what she did. They hug each other, and in the end of the video her beloved dies. In line with it, The Rasmus play the song in a frozen part of the sea.
