The Bicycle Thief's main song writing is done by frontman Bob Forrest, singer for LA band Thelonious Monster and occasional collaborator of former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante. Forrest is mentioned in Anthony Kiedis's "Scar Tissue", but briefly. Josh Klinghoffer (later to play in Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dot Hacker) plays a major role, contributing drums, guitars, keyboards, and songwriting to the album.
Frusciante appears on "Cereal Song" as a guitarist. Additional musicians, songwriters, and producers for the album include Josh Blum, Kevin Fitzgerald, and Marc Hunter.
Bob is now a radio host, streaming at www.indie1031.com, as well as a drug counselor in California.
