Yomna Farid (Arabic: يمنى فريد‎‎; born 28 June 1983) is a retired Egyptian female tennis player.

Farid has a WTA singles career high ranking of 607 achieved on 29 December 2003. She also has a WTA doubles career high ranking of 480 achieved on 10 November 2003. Farid has won one ITF doubles titles.

Farid made her WTA main draw debut at the 1999 Dreamland Egypt Classic in the doubles event partnering Marwa El Wany.

Playing for Egypt in Fed Cup, Farid has a W/L record of 9–19. Farid retired from tennis 2006.

Early life

Farid was born in Alexandria. Favourite Surface clay and started playing tennis aged 12.

Career

Farid had a successful junior career, winning six singles and five doubles ITF titles. Her career-high world ranking as a junior was world number 38, and she finished her junior career with a record of 80–45.
