yolo.mobi is a mobile social phonebook. The application is designed to connect people with their real-life friends in a more meaningful way, encouraging spontaneous interactions, especially when they are out and about. By incorporating location and activity status, event planning, local search and group texting, yolo.mobi enables mobile users to interact with their friends and family anytime, anywhere and in any way they choose.

yolo.mobi is one of a number mobile community and social networking applications that are published by Trilibis Mobile. It was first launched with Virgin Mobile in January 2007 and is available in BREW, Java ME and WAP.

    yolo.mobi was primarily designed for the use on the mobile device, thus it utilizes the .mobi extension to indicate that the application is accessed via the Mobile Web by going to yolo.mobi on your mobile browser. Though the application can be accessed on a personal computer via the Internet at www.yolo.mobi, it delivers most utility when people are on the go, outside of their homes and workplaces, with no access to their PCs.
