Career
Started playing in goal at the age of eight and progressed steadily through the youth ranks in Switzerland (Basel and Geneva regions), including SC Dornach, FC Stade Nyonnais and Prangin FC. During his pre-professional period, Yiannis has concluded intensive professional goalkeeper training programmes at Goal Keeper Academies in the UK, Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland, often excelling in competitions and shortlisted for tournaments, e.g. at AFC Ajax and Juventus F.C..
