Currently residing in New York, she has performed extensively with some of the best musicians on the Jazz/World music scene, most notably with Brazilian music legend Egberto Gismonti. Her debut album entitled Yeahwon which was released in 2010 received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Musica Popular Brasileira Album in 2011. Her second album Lua ya has been released in August 2013 on the innovative label ECM Records with contribution of pianist Aaron Parks and accordionist Rob Curto.
