The Yashadamini Puraskar is Government of Goa (India) award for women given annually.

Description
It is awarded by the state's Directorate of Women and Child Development, Government of Goa, at Panaji (Panjim), which is currently situated at the Old Education Department Building on 18 June Road in the state capital. It is conferred on "eminent women who have excelled in various field such as sports, education, art and culture, social work, co-operation movement, women empowerment, journalism, environment, and or any other profession/activity."
Prize
Currently, the award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a silver salwar.
Awards
In 2015 the award was presented at a function on 8 March (International Working Women's Day).
In the year 2009, the recipient of the awards were Vimal Dinanath Dabholkar and Anita Kundatkar (art and culture), Monica Lobo Dourado and Claudia S Vaz (sports), Manisha J Naik and Amol Krishna Morajkar (social work/cooperative movement), Nelly Rodrigues (women empowerment) and Dr Jayanti Naik (literature). Sheela Kavlekar, a retired mukha sevika, was also presented a special award on the occasion for the services rendered by her.
In 2006, this award was given to Ms Angela R Naik, a national teakwando champion, Dr Nishtha Desai, director of non-government organisation Children's Rights in Goa and Ms Jyothi Kunkoleinkar, a noted writer and recipient of 13 state level awards for literature.
