Since April 2007, his family (Most of the assets are nominally held by Yang's second daughter, Yang Huiyan) have been the wealthiest people in Mainland China, who own about the assets of 45.5 billion Chinese Yuan currently.

The Country Garden Group was listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 2007.
