Yahaya Wumpini Abdul Ganiyu OR Yahaya Abdul Ganiyu (born 22 September 1991) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who last played as a midfielder for Group Bazan FC in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and was a member of the Ghana national under-20 football team 2008 squad.

Youth

Yahaya played in the youth system of National Sport College, Winneba Academy where he begin his youth career in 2003.

Senior

He later moved to Real Tamale United in 2007 to begin his senior career. He signed with the Tamale-based club and played for a year and moved to one of Ghana's oldest club and Kumasi based outfit Asante Kotoko SC in 2008.

Kotoko Move

At the end of 2008, Yahaya was among 13 players officially signed by Asante Kotoko SC. He signed for the 2008/2009 season.

National

Yahaya Wumpini Abdul Ganiyu was a member of the Ghana U20 2008-2009 squad who won Gold at the Nigeria WAFU Tournament.
