Y S School is an initiative of the Young Scholars Group for secondary schooling and provides a conducive environment for young brains to explore the purpose of life. Y S School, founded in 1975, is an English Medium, co-educational school located in the Barnala district of the state of Punjab. The primary purpose of the school is to provide quality education and extraordinary learning experience to students.

Affiliation and accreditation
The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since 1995 and has been running classes from Nursery to 10th Standard for more than three decades.
Curriculum
The curriculum consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geography, History, Civics, Economics, Environmental Sciences, English, Hindi, Drawing, Political Science, Accountancy, Business and Robotics Science. School has always felt the importance of science & technology in human life and introduced the proper classes of Robotics Science to students of 7th Class and above parallel to educational system.
Extra-curricular activities
The ground focus of school is to prepare the young talent for every aspect of 21st century so they are bound to participate in various activities that include sports, public speaking, and vocal and instrumental music, yoga, dance, art, Taekwondo, Quizzing and Scholars Band. On every Saturday, school celebrates, “Saturday - My Day”, where students involve themselves in various activities to develop their personality.
