Career

Xyclone, (born Roje Roman Robinson, November 2nd 1987) is a Jamaican reggae artist from Waterford, St. Catherine.

Though doing music for over 8 years, Xyclone got his big break when he was introduced to the world by his mentor Spragga Benz at a show in Hartford, Connecticut in the United States. From there Xyclone proceeded to tour the USA as a member of Spragga Benz’s label Red Square Productions; doing shows in states such as: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, New York, Maryland and California just to name a few.

As a Red Square Productions artist Xyclone’s first official single was “Back it Up” on the Audacity Riddim in 2011. Xyclone then signed a management deal with Survivor Slim of Tropical Heat Productions. Operating as one entity, Red Square Tropical Heat Production a.k.a. RSQTHP Music Group. RSQTHP released Xyclone’s smash hit “Back Pocket Rag (Low Me Name)” October 2012, which was later remixed by Beenie Man and Cee Gee February 2014. RSQTHP signed a distributing deal with VP Records/VPAL in mid 2013.

In November 2012 Xyclone released his “Everything Red Out Mixtape” mixed by former VP Records official deejay King Waggy Tee and his team Waggy Tee Movements. In August 2014 Xyclone released "Almost There Mixtape" mixed by Kenny Meez from federation sound. In May 2015 Xyclone released "Off The Richter Scale Mixtape" mixed by Ricky Platinum In August 2015 Xyclone released his first studio recorded album "The Xyclone LP" via VP Records/VPAL/RSQTHP. The self titled album features Spragga Benz, Gappy Ranks, Beenie Man, Red Rat, Cee Gee and Treez.

Having secured a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Xyclone has shown himself a full-rounded person who can achieve great things away from the microphone. With his resume’ boasting several commendable accomplishments, Xyclone looks to continue his run towards superstardom.
