Xoco is an official neighborhood of Mexico City in Benito Juárez borough. Xoco was originally a village dating to times before the Spanish conquest. Now it is an important commercial center at the northern edge of Coyoacán, and is home to the Centro Coyoacán shopping center and the Torre Mitikah tower, which will be Mexico City's tallest building, according to plan. Xoco is served by the Coyoacán station of the Mexico City metro. The national cinematheque, the Cineteca Nacional, is here and there is also a cemetery here, the Panteón de Xoco.
