"X-Is Coming" is a song by DMX. The instrumental was produced by P.K. It features DMX delivering more hardcore lyrics over a dark and horrorcore influenced beat. The lyrical subjects involves: murder, teen statutory rape, indignation, and violence. X-Is Coming is also known as one of the raw, Gothic tracks or heavy on It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. The lyrics is also known as one of DMX's grimiest or brashest verses he had ever made on this track. The chorus of the song is sampled by the theme song of "Freddy's Coming For You" from the A Nightmare on Elm Street films, but the name Freddy was replaced with the name "X". However, they didn't use the "9,10" part on the song; they only used 1,2 to 7,8.
