Woozyfly was an online music and entertainment media company devoted to independent music and talent discovery, fan interaction and social networking and user-generated content. It was geared towards both music fans and musicians, as well as to record labels and corporate sponsors. Content on the site spanned genre categories and included Latin music, world music, R&B / hip hop, gospel, christian music, alternative rock, pop music, country, blues, jazz, and hard rock.

WoozyFly produced a variety of original content programs through an independently owned production company. 'The Set at JSM' and 'Live at the Loft', on which musicians were invited to perform a four- or five-song set, which is then recorded and streamed online, were examples of this programming. Woozyfly also covered live concerts at famed venues like The Bitter End in New York.
Original staff consisted of music and entertainment industry veterans Joe Bianco (Alliance Entertainment), Joel Simon [1], Jonathan Bomser [2], Duncan Hutchison (Caroline Records, Artemis, Alliance Entertainment), Jeanne Drewsen (Artemis Records, Alliance Entertainment), Manny Gerard (Warner Communications, Warner Music).

Woozyfly also powered the music and entertainment sections of both Ultimate-guitar.com and Jinti.com, a Chinese social networking website.
Future ventures
Woozyfly's music competition, WoozyIdol, ran until May 15, 2008. The winning unsigned band had the chance to win a $150,000 recording, promotion, and distribution contract. In late 2008, Woozyfly was expected to launch a Chinese-language website, independent of Jinti.com.
Company dissolved
In November 2008 Woozyfly was dissolved, and the website was taken down. Shares were merged into STW Acquisition, Inc.
