Wolfgang Bowing-Treuding (28 January 1922 – 11 February 1943) was a German Luftwaffe ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. Bowing-Treuding claimed 46 aerial victories, all 46 were over the Eastern Front. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

Career
Wolfgang Bowing-Treuding downed his first victory 13 July 1941, he brought his total to 9 by the end of the year. He continued to down fighters to a total of 46 including 16 Il-2 Sturmoviks. He was killed by Russian ground-fire on 11 February 1943 and was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, on 24 March 1943.
