WireCash is a digital money transfer marketplace where customers can compare remittance services and complete money transfers online.

With one login, customers can evaluate money transfer services based on brand, price, recipient payout option, along with other criteria. Money transfers completed through WireCash are then safely processed and distributed worldwide to recipients.

Founded in 2005, the company previously operated ATMCash, prior to establishing WireCash. The company was founded by Ran Grushkowsky and Jonathan Cooper, and is based in Santa Monica, CA.

Money Transfer Marketplace

WireCash enables offline money transfer companies to operate online. It also provides online money transfer companies with access to additional customers backed with payment guarantee.

As a marketplace, WireCash enables customers to compare and send money transfer, bill pay and reload services based on price or exchange rate.

Services

As of October 14, 2016 WireCash offers the following services:

  • Money transfers from the US to 49 countries including Mexico, El Salvador, Russia, Brazil, Nigeria and Ukraine.
  • Reload of prepaid phones in 57 countries including Cuba, Bangladesh, Haiti and Guatemala
  • Pay bills in Mexico including ComisiĆ³n Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Telmex and INFONAVIT.
  • Girosol

    Girosol joined the WireCash Marketplace in April, 2015. A well-known money transfer company allows customers to send money to Latin America, Europe and Asia for a total of 32 serviceable countries. Girosol's delivery options include cash pickup, bank deposit and home delivery.

    Pontual

    To strengthen coverage to Brazil, WireCash announced adding Pontual to their platform in November, 2015. This partnership allows WireCash customers to deposit into any bank account in Brazil through a known-brand in the Brazilian community in the United States.

    Cuallix

    With the addition of Cuallix in November, 2015 to the WireCash Marketplace, customers can, from the US, pay bills in Mexico including electricity, phone and cable TV, and mortgage payments.

    Ping Express

    In June, 2016 WireCash announced the welcoming of Ping Express which provides deposits in minutes into bank accounts in Ghana or Nigeria. This partnership also enables reloads, or top-ups to the same countries through the marketplace.

    Funding

    WireCash was initially funded with $5 Million dollars from an institutional investor.
