Winter Episode 1: Over the Big Balls to Nana's House We Go

Aired on Thursday, January 6, 2011.

This is the first time the Wipeout Zone only consists of three contestants instead of four.

Kelsey Schulte was the fastest time of all the Winners in the Winter Wipeout Zone. Also first to clear the Sinister Snowflakes on her first try.

This episode received 11.690 million viewers and 3.8/11 (18-49).

This episode was the second to have a Wipeout Zone with only one male. Season 2 Episode 14 was the first.

Title reference: The "Nana's House" and "Big Balls" courses, although the title has them in reverse. This spoofs the song "Over The River And Through The Woods".

Kelsey Schulte is a second contestant to beat the Wipeout Zone faster than the Qualifier. (Christian Readyhoff was the 1st, who holds the record of Wipeout's fastest wipeout zone time of 55 seconds)

Winter Episode 2: Wipeout - The Musical

Aired on Thursday January 13, 2011.

Vonti (2x05), Shiny Happy Vicky Kim (2x01), and Fierce Dragon Eddie Moton Jr. (3x02) are all seen in the beginning.

* Katie Fierro is the first person to clear Mogul Madness. Later, Jason Ondo is the second. And Elise, the third.

Winter Episode 3: Don't Fear The Beaver

Aired on Thursday, January 20, 2011.

* Jacob Chrisman is the first to clear the Yule Log Jam.

Title reference: Contestant Myron Nilsson said that he was bitten by a Beaver. During Myron's run on the Qualifier, a doodle of a giant beaver saying (with Henson's voice) "Fear the beaver!", "slapping" Myron with its tail before the contestant wipes out. This spoofs the song title "(Don't Fear) The Reaper".

8.256 million people tuned in and this episode received a 2.6/7 (18-49) share.

** Jacob is the fourth to clear the Frostbite on his first try but still fell in the water. He also is second to clear the Sinister Snowflakes (Kelsey Shulte was the first). He was also the third to have his run in the Wipeout Zone faster than the Qualifier. *** Britney Beavis's nickname was John Henson saying "Beavis" as Butt-head from Beavis and Butt-head

This is the first all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

While being interviewed by Jill, Cindy brought her 3 Kids with her & left them with Jill while she ran the course.

Winter Episode 4: Baby, It's Blob Outside

* Dana Logsdon was the second person to clear the Snow Plow Sweeper (Jason Ondo was the first).

** Dana Logsdon was the second person to come in first in every round (Chuck Trout was the first).

*** Steven Barnthouse Jr. was the first to clear the Stairway from Hell on his first try. Later, Dana Logsdon was the second.

**** Mika Mori is the third to finish the Wipeout Zone in 08:13.86 (Ali Burdrant and Ariel Tweto are the first and second.)

***** This is the second time that the three finalists all finished in the top 3 in all 4 rounds. S2ep12 was the first time.

Title reference: The inflatable blob returns to the Wipeout course. This spoofs the popular winter standard "Baby, It's Cold Outside".

Adult Film Star Taylor Wane (using her real name Joanna Dutremble) was the first contestant of the episode. She completed the qualifier with a time of 07:42, but did not qualify for round 2.

Winter Episode 5: Hockey Pucks and Bieber Fever

* Chris Kasper was the second to pass the Yule Log Jam (Jacob Chrisman was the first)

** This is the second time John Henson was outside (for the Ice Arena).

Title reference: A contestant named Alyssa has "Bieber Fever" and it seems Henson caught it as well before the first commercial break, suggested by two things: continuous talking about him (though Anderson, and later himself, realize this), and a hairstyle similar to his. After the commercial break, he seems to go back to normal. Later, the "Wipeout" Ice Arena was introduced in the 3rd round with big hockey pucks.

*** Walter Walker is the fifth player to pass Frostbite, and third to pass Stairway from Hell. **** Lauren lied to get on Wipeout. ***** Charlie's name really is "Charlie Brown".

This is the second all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Winter Episode 6: This Little Piggy Went to Wipeout

Edward Monroy was the third to clear the Snowplow Sweeper (Jason Ondo and Dana Logsdon were first and second)

Title reference: In the Qualifier, the contestants had to cross an obstacle known as the "Holiday Hams". It's a play-on words to the nursery rhyme This Little Piggy.

This is the third all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Edward Monroy became the first contestant to get second place in all of the 4 events.

Anastasia is the very first contestant on Wipeout to hold a world record. ( Later, Otis Pittman would be second. ) She holds the world record as of 2011 for 7,457 points on the 1996 game Bop-It.

Winter Episode 8: Family Night, Kids Eat It for Free

John Anderson's twin brother, Jack Anderson, made an appearance at the end of the episode.

* Both Gary and Larry deliberately jumped off the Ski Lift to save their energy.

** Throughout the episode, Gary & Larry Lane were sometimes referred to as "Glarry", because John Henson could not tell the two apart.

*** Because each pair's times were combined, Sally Aster had only 40.00 seconds to complete the Wipeout Zone, which is no longer possible. The reason why is because the swim to the Icy Stairway from Hell takes about 30 seconds.

**** This marks the second time that Larry and Gary Lane won money on a game show. The first time was on Fear Factor, another Matt Kunitz creation, in 2002. Both twins also appeared on the short-lived Syfy reality TV show CHA$E, but did not win any money.

* Skip Dickinson was the first to clear the Wipeout Kitchen, the Spring Fling and the Over and Out, also Skip didn't make a single wipeout on the Scareousel.
** Before the start of the third round, Mario Ponce Jr. chose to leave the competition. The 6 eliminated contestants from the Scareousel were put into a random draw to take his place, which Caryn Ayala won.
*** Skip Dickinson is the third to come in first in all four events. Chuck Trout & Dana Logsdon were the first and second.
**** Claire Voisine was the first to clear Point Break on her first attempt. ***** Skip Dickinson is the 1st to clear Over and Out on his 1st attempt

* Camille Bulot didn't make a single wipeout on her run on the Scareousel.

Spring Episode 5: The Most Dramatic Rose Ceremony Ever

* Before his run in the Wipeout Zone, Bill Carlson proposed to his girlfriend Emily.
** Matthew Franchina reached the finish platform before his time ran out, but couldn't keep his balance and fell off.
*** First finalist to be last to qualify in every round.

This is the fifth all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Spring Episode 6: Dirty Laundry

* William Davis, Jr. is the first to clear the Coin Toss on his first attempt.

** William Davis, Jr. is the second to cross the Spring Fling. (Skip Dickinson was the first)

*** Caitlin Avery was the second person to clear Over and Out on her first attempt (Skip Dickinson was the first)

* Title reference: The laundromat part of the qualifier round.

This is the fourth to have a Wipeout Zone with only one male (Season 2, Episode 14, Season 4, Episode 1 and Season 4, Episode 11 were the first, second and third.)

Spring Episode 7: Engaged Couples

This is the first time a different prize was given. The prize this time was a Disney Cruise, plus the $50,000.

** Both Adam Latka and Brian Hunt passed Over and Out on their first attempt.

Summer Episode 1: Summer Sneak Peek

* Jimmy Mattingly was the person first to cross Driver's Ed.

** Emanuel Robinson didn't make a single wipeout on his run on the Wipeout Play Set.

*** This is the second time in Wipeout history that the finalists did the Wipeout Zone in all different ways since Emanuel finished, Jasmine ran out of time, and Jimmy quit. The first time this happened was S2ep2.

Summer Episode 2: Hotties Vs Nerds

* Kyle Kobe is the first to clear the Double Barrel. He also took about a minute to remove a Jedi costume made for him by his mother.

** Christian Cannon was the first to clear the Axl of Evil and The Great Wall of Fall on his first try and holds the record for fastest time completing the wipeout zone in Season 4.

*** Jocelyn Peck is the first to clear Iron Maizen on her first attempt.

Christian Cannon is the 2nd person to get 2nd on the first 3 rounds, but win the Wipeout Zone. (Melia Quiray is the 1st).

Summer Episode 3: Let's Make A Wipeout

This was the fourth time it rained on the Wipeout Course. Season 1 Episode 10, Season 2 Episode 2 and Season 3 Episode 15 was the first, second and third.

* Only person to cross the Chinese Restaurant.

** Michael Ortiz became the second person to cross the Coin Toss on his first attempt (William Davis, Jr was the first). Later, Chris Pearce was the third.

*** This is the fourth time it rains on the Wipeout Course. Season 1 Episode 10, Season 2 Episode 2 and Season 3 Episode 15 was the first, second and third.

Title reference: A spoof of a popular game show Let's Make A Deal. The first Summer episode to have a remix of Spring Wipeout.

This is the sixth all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Alison Bishop crossed both sets of the first obstacle.

Summer Episode 4: At Full Tilt

* Aired June 30, 2011

** Sarah Cooper is the second to clear Point Break on her first attempt (Claire Voisine was the first) and the fourth to clear the Coin Toss on her first attempt (William Davis, Jr, Michael Ortiz and Chris Pearce were the first, second and third).

*** Veronica Chernyavska withdrew before the start of the 3rd round. The 6 eliminated contestants from the Scareousel were put into a random draw to take her place, which Max Fleury won.

Title reference: The Pinball part of the qualifying course.

This is the second time that the episode is a Spring Wipeout Remix.

This is also the second time that someone who got another chance made it to the Wipeout Zone.

Summer Episode 5: Wheel of Misfortune

* Chaz Hume is the first to clear the Wheel of Misfortune on his first attempt.

** Chaz Hume is the second to clear the Iron Maizen on his first attempt (Jocelyn Peck was the first).

*** Tony Lee is the second to clear the Axl of Evil and the Great Wall of Fall on his first attempt (Christian Cannon was the first).

This is the 3rd time that the 3rd round has men only. This is the 3rd round with no females since Season 2, Episode 3 and Season 3, Episode 14.

This is the seventh all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Andrew beat Chaz by 20 seconds, and lost to Tony by 3 minutes, 6 seconds. Title reference: Like its previous episode, it's the name of one part of the qualifying course. This spoofs a popular game show Wheel of Fortune.

Summer Episode 6: All Stars

* Deborah Blackwell is the first person of season 4 to clear the Big Balls (With the Snowtivator/Springivator/Dreadmill or Spinning Balls in place prior to the obstacle).

** Only one to cross the school Cafeteria

*** Matt Christopherson became the third person to clear Point Break on his first attempt (Claire Voisine and Sarah Cooper were the first and second)

**** Deborah Blackwell is the fifth to clear Over and Out on her first attempt (Skip Dickinson, Caitlin Avery, Brian Hunt and Adam Latka were the others). later, she became the 2nd person to lose the final twice (Ariel Tweto became the 1st)

This is the second episode to have an All-Stars since Season 2, Episode 11.

(Stuart Yasutake and Robert Davis were the first and second, both of whom appeared on the Wipeout Bowl before their All-Star appearance in season 2.) Also, Kyle was named "The Hairy Beast", but was later renicknamed "Super Beast".

* X-Ray Man Edgar Lai was the second person to cross the double barrel. (Kyle Kobe was the first.) Marcus Huntley also cleared the Jiggle-ator and the Double Barrel, but both were edited out of the show.
** X-Ray Man Ryan injured his shoulder during Wipeout 500, so he and Edgar quit before the Wipeout Zone started, which put the Shock Jocks in the Wipeout Zone.
*** Maestro of Comedy Sean Monahan posted the slowest time for a winner in Wipeout history.
**** Maestro of Comedy Patrick McIntyre became the third person to clear Iron Maizen on his first attempt (Jocelyn Peck and Chaz Hume were the first and second). Later, Shock Jock Jay Isbell became the 4th to cross Iron Maizen.

This is the 4th episode where it was all male from the 3rd round onwards. (S2E03, S3E14, and S4E20 were the others),

This is the first episode where two contestants were injured.

Summer Episode 11: Bucking Broncos and Jiggling Monkeys

* Bryan Norman is the first to cross the Jiggleator and fourth to clear the Double Barrel (Kyle Kobe, Edgar Lai and Mark Holwick were the first, second and third).

** Bryan Norman is the sixth to clear Iron Maizen on his first attempt (Jocelyn Peck, Chaz Hume, Patrick McIntyre, Jay Isbell, and Mark Holwick were the others), the fourth to clear the Axl of Evil on his first attempt (Christian Cannon, Tony Lee and Mark Holwick were the first, second and third), and the third to clear the Great Wall of Fall on his first attempt (Christian Cannon and Tony Lee were the first and second), giving him a perfect run in the Wipeout Zone. Later, Barry Fast cleared Iron Maizen on his first attempt. When Ashley finishes the course, you can see a crew member in the background, an editor's mistake.

*** This is the fifth episode to have the third round with all males. Season 2, Episode 3, Season 3, Episode 14 Season 4, Episode 20 and season 4 episode 23 were the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

This is the ninth all-male Wipeout Zone in Season 4.

Summer Episode 12: Ballsy's Playground

Although it wasn't seen, Larry Sanders was the second person to pass Driver's Ed. (Jimmy Mattingly was the first). Unfortunately, he didn't pass the Qualifier.

* The Davises + Hate and the Captain and Cadet both managed to grab the Aflac duck on the big balls awarding both members of their teams a $2,000 bonus.

Katie Davis + Hate and Captain Matthew Crump both crossed the Double Barrels successfully.

* "Exhibitionist" Robert Delgado has won a $25,000 cash bonus from Activision for the fastest time in the qualifier round. If Robert had won Wipeout, he would have left with $75,000 ($50,000 + $25,000 (for the Fastest Time)).

Although it wasn't seen, Dean Weygand was the third person to pass Driver's Ed. (Larry Sanders and Jimmy Mattingly were the first and second). Unfortunately, he didn't pass the Qualifier.

Brenton Kuipers Is The Final Contestant To Clear The Great Wall Of Fall. Also, He Won By Only 6 Seconds.

Robert Delgado Is The Final Contestant To Clear The Axel Of Evil.

This is the second Blind Date. Season 3 Episode 1 was the first.
