William G. Sesler (born April 18, 1928, died May 22, 2017) was a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, serving from 1961 to 1972. He was an unsuccessful candidate in the 1970 United States Senate election in Pennsylvania against Hugh Scott.

Early life

Born in 1928 to Frederick R. Sesler and Pauline Dixon, Sesler was the youngest of three boys, an older brother, Richard, and a twin, Thomas R. Sesler.

He attended Kenyon College and University of Michigan Law School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Recent Life

William currently works as an attorney with the firm Sesler & Sesler.
