William Morrison Wyllie

William Morrison Wyllie (c. 1820–1895) was a British painter, known for his coastal and maritime subjects. A number of his works are in the Southwark Art Collection. Other collections which hold examples include the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum.

He and his wife Katherine Benham (1813–1872), a singer, lived in London and Wimereux, France. Their sons, William Lionel Wyllie and Charles William Wyllie were also both successful painters, as were his stepson, from Katherine's earlier relationship, Lionel Percy Smythe, and William Lionel's son, Lt. Col. Harold Wyllie.
