Plot

Guido lives in Naples, teaching Italian literature. When his wife leaves him, Guido enters into depression, and even his friend Paolo, a physical education teacher, manages to lift his moral. Everything changes when Guido receives a mysterious visit of a nearby very attractive housewife: Silvia. Immediately the two fall in love; but Silvia is just an imaginary product of Guido's imagination, and what triggers many misunderstandings.
