History

Westside finished second in the 2012 Metro 1 season, the highest place of any non-Premier League team in the competition. 2012 was a historic season for Westside FC, not only in terms of performance on the field, but also with off field partnerships – the Brisbane Paralympic Football Program became fully associated with the club, the first time for a program of its kind in Australian Football.

The club celebrated its 50th season in 2013, which saw the senior men's team compete in a new league structure introduced by Football Brisbane, taking its place Capital League 3.

The club colours, red, green and white, are taken from the Hungarian national flag.
