In May 2006, the students and staff hosted a Relay for Life for the Canadian Cancer Society. The Wildcat students and staff raised over $20,000 in a pursuit to find a cure for cancer.

In April 2012, Westminster held its annual campaign raising approximately $5000 for pediatric cancer research.
