American Single Malt Whiskies
Whiskies made by Westland Distillery are fermented for 144 hours with Belgian Brewer's Yeast.
Core Range
Core range whiskies are aged a minimum of 24 months and sold at 46% abv.
American Oak
Westland's flagship American Single Malt Whiskey. This recipe, known as 5-malt, contains Washington select pale malt (70%), Munich malt (9%), Extra Special malt (13%), Brown malt (4%), and Pale Chocolate malt (4%). The spirit is aged predominantly in American Oak (Coopers Select, Cooper's Reserve) and occasionally 1st Fill Ex-Bourbon casks.
Sherry Wood
Sherry Wood utilizes the same 5-Malt grain bill as American Oak, but derives it's name from the addition of spirit aged in Ex-Oloroso and Ex-Pedro Ximénez hogsheads and butts.
Single Casks
These releases are bottled from a single barrel at cask strength.
Deacon Seat
Released in September 2013, Deacon Seat is Westland Distillery's first publicly released bottling. A 5-malt recipe, aged for a minimum of 26 months in 100% #4 Char American Oak, sold in 375ml bottles.
First Peated
The first iteration of Westland's unique Peated single malt whiskey. Made from a combination of 50ppm Peated malt and Washington Select pale malt, this release was aged in 100% #4 Char New American Oak.
Facility
Westland is located in SoDo, Seattle's industrial district. All current spirit is milled, mashed, fermented, and distilled in this 13,000 sq ft. working facility.
Cantilever Room
Westland's cocktail bar and tasting room.
