Formation and early years (2009–2010)
In mid-2009 Dave Hartley (ex Hijak Oscar) and Mark Meilack (ex Hijak Oscar) were approached by Robert Hughes with a demo CD of 4 tracks.
Ex Idle Jack drummer Simon Himsworth and York-based guitarist Paul Heaney joined shortly after.
Mark left the band to move to Brighton to form a new band in October 2011. This opened a door for Stuart Fletcher (musician) who in the past played for The Seahorses, The Yards featuring fellow ex-Seahorse Chris Helme, and Rick Witter's current band, Rick Witter & The Dukes to join. He has also done session work for Happy Mondays, Saint Etienne, The Calling.
