Wayne Kasserman is a New York city based stage and screen actor, most notable for his role in the 2008 remake of Knight Rider as mechanic Dylan Fass. He is also the executive director of the New York Collective For The Arts.

Education

Kasserman began acting during high school in Martinsville, New Jersey at the Pingry School under the direction of Albert Romano, graduating in the class of 1994. He then continued his dramatic education at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where he studied at the Experimental Theater Wing for four years. Upon graduating from NYU, Kasserman went on to study at the American Conservatory Theater.

Career

Along with Scott Hirsch, David Bunde, Berns Rothchild, and Noah Schankler, Kasserman founded the New York Collective For The Arts in 2004. He brought the organization's first event, a festival of 10-minute plays, back to his native New Jersey, where he staged the festival at the Hostetter Arts Center of his alma mater, The Pingry School. He is currently NYCollective's executive director.

In 2007, Kasserman landed a role on SpikeTV's The Kill Point as technology expert Tonray. Later that year, he was cast as mechanic Dylan Fass in NBC's continuation of the 1980s hit television show Knight Rider. He also has had roles on individual episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Jury.

In 2013, Kasserman was accepted into the W+K12 program, an experimental advertising school inside Wieden+Kennedy Portland.
